Glass Rings
Welcome to glassfiction, my own collection of glass rings! Every ring is designed and handmade by me, one at a time. I work with both Italian (the same used in Murano rings) and German glass and love spending hours sitting at the torch, melting bits of colour and forming new shapes. For more information, please scroll down. New styles added constantly!

More Details
- I'm sorry but, due to sizing issues (see below) and limited studio time, currently, I cannot take custom orders. I hope to someday!
- All rings are properly kiln-annealed for strength.
- All rings will have traces of "bead release" inside the band; bead release is a special clay mixture that's used to prevent the glass from sticking to the metal mandrel when I'm making the ring. I scrub off as much clay as I can, but it leaves behind a slight trace that gives the glass a somewhat frosted look on the inside of the band (as opposed to being totally transparent).
- The size range I can offer is limited by the mandrel sizes I have. Also, the size of the ring depends not just on what mandrel I used but how thick the protective clay coating happened to be (that part's unpredictable, which is why I can't do custom orders at the moment).
- Please remember to be careful with these rings as they are glass and glass is delicate! I recommend removing them before washing hands or engaging in any activity where they might bang against other hard objects. Remember that glass is sensitive to temperature change.
- Prices vary based on time spent, overall result and materials used (some colours/types of glass cost more than others).
- Please do not attempt to squeeze into a size too small; dealing with broken glass can be unsafe.
