The photos DO NOT always show the imperfection. Sometimes, there's a photo of the actual ring; other times, the imperfection is described in words only and the picture is of the ring in its non-bruised state. Above each photo is a message telling you whether the photo is a sample or not. |

The bump itself is clear like the ring, so it's not immediately noticeable. Imagine if a raised air bubble were trapped in the acrylic and you'll have an idea of what it looks like, although this seems to be a solid bump, not filled with air.
